Two-Stage Process
Stage 1
Expression of Interest
A short form covering your basic details, programme interest and motivation. Takes about 5 minutes. Submitted directly to the RYE Chair for review.

Stage 2
Full Application
Invited candidates complete a comprehensive application covering medical history, academic records, references and parental consent.

Available after Stage 1 approval
What Happens After You Apply
You submit Stage 1
Your Expression of Interest is sent directly to the RYE Chair.
RYE Chair reviews
The Chair reviews your EOI within 5–7 working days and will be in touch by email or phone.
Stage 2 invitation
If you are a suitable candidate, you will be invited to complete the full Stage 2 application.
Interview
Shortlisted Stage 2 candidates are invited for an interview with the RYE committee.
Selection
Successful candidates are notified and the exchange placement process begins.
